By popular demand from our lovely customers, new bird friends have joined our famous "Kyo Bird Gamaguchi Netsuke" series! Woven using basic peyote and brick stitches, these adorable little birds take the shape of a traditional Japanese coin purse. Every angle, including the charming back view, is beautifully captured!
Meet the 5 new delightful bird friends in Part 2:
• White Java Sparrow (Java Finch): Features an impressive pinkish-red beak and a plump body like a sweet Daifuku mochi. Woven with delicate ecru-colored beads to give the pure white feathers a subtle texture (it’s a beautiful detail that’s hard to capture in photos!).
• Pacific Parrotlet (Mameruriha): Known as one of the smallest parrots with big, expressive personalities, finished in gorgeous, rich shades of blue.
• White-bellied Caique: A friendly, active bird who loves to play, brought to life with bright, vivid colors.
• Chick (Hiyoko): A sweet yellow baby bird chick. Soft, lighter yellow beads are used cleverly around the bottom for an extra touch of cuteness.
• Emperor Penguin Chick: An adorable penguin waddling along, styled in a chic monotone palette of black, gray, and white.
Filled with cotton for a soft 3D effect, it comes with a Netsuke strap, making it a perfect stylish charm for your wallet or bag. Displaying them all together creates a truly heartwarming scene—and they look even more wonderful when lined up alongside the birds from Part 1!
